The 4001 Clifton Park Style Street Light and Post Package is ideal for both residential and commercial locations. Made of cast and extruded aluminum, the 4001 is durable, weather resistant, and provides a substantial area of quality, outdoor lighting.
Assembly is straightforward: attach the pole to the pedestal base, and then attach the fixture vertically to the pole via preconfigured threading. Bulk discounts are available for high volume orders, making the 4001 Street Light a smart choice for your next residential or commercial streetscape project.
Over the summer of 2015, our 4001 Streetlight package was featured in the James Hardie booth, positioned directly inside the front doors of the 2015 Hardware Show in Las Vegas. Check out a few photos from the event (note: clicking a photo will open a new tab to our Flickr Album).
When you purchase your 4001 street light, youíll receive four (4) components: the post, the fixture, the globe, and the base. If you selected lamps with your light package, those will be included as well.
Below we have included some FAQs regarding the 4001 Globe:
(Q) How is the street light globe attached to the fixture?(A) The globe attaches by way of three small openings that fasten to three corresponding prongs on the fixture.
(Q) Does the 4001 globe fit into other light fixture models?(A) Typically, no, due to the specificity of our fixtures.
(Q) What are the globe dimensions?(A) The 4001 globe measures approximately 27 inches high x 15 inches in diameter at its widest section.
(Q) How much does the globe weigh?(A) The 4001 globe weighs 6 lbs.
The 4001 Globe fits directly over the LED fixture, which is easily attached to the top of the pole. You can purchase LED fixtures ranging from 10 watts to 54 watts depending on your specific requirements. Simply choose LED as your Lighting Source from the first dropdown option, and then choose the desired fixture wattage under Fixture - Wiring and Wattage.
(Note: in the video, we refer to the std-base as the 4001 Base, but it is the standard base designed for use with any of our standard light poles).
The light pole screws directly into the base, which should be installed onto a concrete slab with the bolts sticking up out of the concrete. For this part of the installation, you should consult our base diagram as well as our base measurements hole to hole. If you have questions about the diagram or the measurements, feel free to call us at (866) 390-5227.
The base includes a small access door, so you will need proper tools to fasten the base to the bolts coming up from the concrete slab.

All street light packages on GotItWholesale.com use LED as the standard lighting source. LED is both cost and energy-efficient since LED bulbs last longer and require less wattage for lighting outputs comparable to higher wattage HPS and MH bulbs (detailed below).
The LED lamp has grown more popular due to its efficiency. Although the LED bulb has been around for over 50 years, the white LEDís recent development caught the public eye as a replacement for other white light sources.
Common uses: indoor and outdoor lighting applications (streetlights, parking lot lighting, etc.), home yard lighting, high bay lighting.
The HPS bulb is one of the most common lighting sources on the market, though more industries are beginning to take advantage of LED benefits.
Common uses: outdoor lighting, municipal lighting, home yard lighting, high bay lighting.
Metal Halide bulbs have become increasingly popular due to their quality white light and good efficiency. The MH lamp is typically installed in stadiums and sports fields.
Developers also use them for parking lots and street lighting in urban areas.
Common uses: outdoor lighting where good color rendering is needed (parking lots, sports fields, etc.).
* Photocell SENSOR WIRED FOR 110 SERVICE ONLY. For alternative voltages, a separately purchased photocell will be required.
* Wider open base measurements: 16.75 inches in diameter x 19 inches high x 6 inches wide at the top-opening. See Overview of Street Light Measurements for both base diagrams.✢ Tapered pole diameter is 6 inches at the base and tapers to 4.4 inches at the top.
Customers can configure our street light packages and light fixtures for the following:
The voltage you select will depend on the operating environment where you intend to install the street lights. We encourage you to consult an electrician from your region if you are unsure which voltage configuration to select. For more info on different electrical service types and voltages, view this resource.
NOTE: ALWAYS USE A LICENSED ELECTRICIAN

Customers can purchase our street light packages with the following lamps, wiring, and wattage configurations:
You can configure the street light pole starting at 8 feet tall and as high as 14 feet tall. If you require a pole taller than 14 feet, you can select Custom size needed from the dropdown options -- only please note that additional charges will be calculated after the order is placed (if you select this option, we will confirm the total with you directly prior to finalizing the purchase).
In addition to the straight pole, we offer an 8-foot tall tapered pole which will be configured with a wider open base.
See below for each poleís pricing (note: the 8-foot straight pole comes standard with the package and has no additional charge):
Custom size needed (additional charges may apply)
You can add up to two (2) flag / plant holders to each street light package. The flag holder attaches to the middle of the light pole via a circular bracket and includes a rubber insert to shield the pole from abrasion or scratching.
The flag holder is made of heavy-duty cast aluminum and can be used to hang flags or plants for your municipality, residential project, park, etc. If you have a large project and need to see a sample, just let us know and we will ship one out to you.
The top of the standard base measures approximately 4 inches to accommodate a 4-inch diameter pole.
The top of the wider open base measures 6 inches in diameter to accommodate a wider pole at the bottom.
The total measurements for both bases are 19 inches high by 16.75 inches in diameter.
You should install your street light onto a cement pad -- the pad itself should be the depth of your local frost line. The base pad should be poured cylindrically with a width of not less than 2 inches larger than the diameter of the base.
You will need four (4) L-Shape bolts measuring 1/2 in. x 12 in. to 18 in. for installation (not provided, but you may obtain these at your local hardware store).
The electrical conduit containing the main electrical wire should protrude through the center of this cement pad. Connect the base of the light to the cement pad using nuts and connect the main electrical wire to the leads extending down from the socket assembly (standard) or the ballast/socket assembly (optional).
Note: the attached templates will typically not print to scale. These templates are only for reference. We recommend that you cut a wood template form using the measurements we provide here. We insist that you confirm the accuracy of your wooden form by physically holding it up against the base and confirming the alignment.

Asymmetrical reflector system is designed for use with surfaces where the width is small in relation to the length, such as streets, footpaths and bicycle paths. The values given in the tables are for guidance only.
Cities and communities all over the U.S. are making use of low-energy Light Emitting Diode (LED) fixtures. And with good reason: LEDs offer the highest energy savings of any lighting source available. Energy savings means a better lighting solution for both the environment and your wallet. LED bulbs can also be used with commercial acorn and sphere globes, as well as many residential cast aluminum light fixtures.
LED bulbs can also be used to retrofit existing HID ballast light fixtures.

Note: the above wind load map is provided as a general guideline only. Please consult your local codes for specific project requirements.
Effective Projected Area or EPA is a wind resistance rating given for street fixtures, light pole brackets, and fixture accessories. The total of all accessory EPA ratings must not exceed the pole capacity EPA for the wind zone where it is installed (see wind zone map below).
Note that there may be more than one wind velocity in any geographical area (e.g., the greater Tampa, Florida area has three different wind zones). You should also select lighting poles for your location that can withstand the additional stresses caused by weight (the fixture, for example). Please check local ordinances and building codes for the most current requirements.*
Note: the largest EPA addition to any pole will be from single or double rectangular shaped decorative banners and street signs. Why? The sign or banner's greater surface area is more exposed to the wind and creates a high EPA value when compared to fixtures and arm brackets. In this case, a larger pole diameter or thicker wall may be required. Always contact the manufacturer whenever banners are to be used.
Venia Lighting products are designed to meet industry accepted wind loading standards for decorative street lighting. State or federal lighting projects may require decorative poles to meet specifications established by the American Association of Street and Highway Traffic Officials (AASHTO). Consult the manufacturer for separate EPA capacities according to AASHTO recommendations.
